Effective 31 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SentinelMDM (“SentinelMDM,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, protects, and shares information when you use our website, software, and services. By creating an account or using the service you agree to this policy.
SentinelMDM provides disclosed, consent-based parental-control and mobile device management (MDM) software on a subscription basis, with optional pre-configured hardware. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to [email protected].
SentinelMDM is a zero-knowledge system. Private device telemetry is encrypted on the device before transmission and can only be decrypted in the account owner's browser using a key derived from your password. We physically cannot read your private device data — our servers store opaque ciphertext. Because the key never leaves you, we also cannot reset your password or recover your encrypted data if you lose it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your encrypted device data for advertising.
We share information only with service providers who help us run the service — principally Stripe (payments) and our hosting/infrastructure providers — and only as needed to provide it. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users. We never sell data to third parties.
Captured device telemetry and binary objects automatically purge on a 30-day TTL. We retain account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. You can delete your account and its encrypted data at any time (see §8).
SentinelMDM FamilySafe is intended for a parent or legal guardian to supervise their own family member on a device the parent owns and administers, with monitoring disclosed to the device user. The account holder is the adult parent/guardian, who provides any consent required under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable law. The service is not directed to children for independent sign-up, and we do not knowingly collect data from a child as a standalone user.
We protect data with end-to-end encryption, hardware-backed device keys, encrypted-at-rest storage, and strict access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but the zero-knowledge design means that even a server compromise does not expose your readable private data.
We use strictly necessary cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and operate the dashboard. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions? Email [email protected].
